Our Story

Tucked along Military Dr W, Taqueria Vallarta has become a go-to spot for San Antonio locals craving real, home-style Mexican cooking. The kitchen turns out hot chips and salsa, soft handmade-style tortillas, and generous plates from early morning until late at night — because good food shouldn't have a curfew.

Regulars keep coming back for the caldo, described by one loyal customer as "wonderfully big and hot," and for the mini taco plates loaded with asada, al pastor, barbacoa, chicken, or ground beef, plus roasted jalapeño, onions, cilantro, and salsa on the side.
